Unknown components are never counted as free. Domain costs and taxes are excluded from both sides. A hosting mailbox allowance is not the same as permissioned company-file storage. Equivalent prices do not mean equivalent capabilities or readiness.

Where the planned package adds value: one website, a 250 GB flexible business pool and no per-address core fee. Some selected providers cost less for fewer users, include office editors, or offer features beyond our scope. Arbam chat status: Early access; full customer mail delivery is still being built.

The complete business budget

Small team.
One business price.

A mailbox is one part of the working day. Compare where your team keeps files, manages access, shares calendars and runs its website, too.

$26.00 / business / month

Planned core package: one website, business email identities and 250 GB shared across mail, files, websites and eligible backups. Addresses can follow employees, projects and clients without a separate per-address subscription fee.

Addresses for the work

No ten-address cap in the planned business package. Create distinct project mailboxes or aliases to suit the work, within shared storage and sending safeguards.

Shared work. Deliberate access.

Personal and company calendars, internal Arbam chat and Storage Vault permissions connect the team’s work. These workflows are in the pilot; full paid services remain in development.

Planning price · Private preview. Paid checkout is not open. All figures below are USD before tax, checked 15 September 2026. Domain registration/renewal and other add-ons are excluded. A 12-month GridOnBoard projection is $312.00, assuming the planned monthly price stays unchanged.

People change.
Your business keeps the conversation.

Mark joins. Mark leaves. Steve takes over. The client relationship and its correspondence still belong to the business. GridOnBoard’s planned mail model prices the business workspace, with no ten-address cap and no separate core subscription charge for each employee or project mailbox.

An address for the client

Use marksproject@yourbusiness.com for a project. Give authorised colleagues access to the same correspondence. Removing an employee’s access does not erase the business mailbox.

One hundred clients. Clearer boundaries.

Plan a separate project mailbox for each client, including a hundred client mailboxes when useful. Keep conversations organised and grant access only to the people working on that client.

Pay for shared capacity

Mail, files, websites and eligible backups draw from the planned 250 GB business pool. Adding an address does not add a per-address subscription fee. Expand storage when the business needs more capacity.

Choose the right kind of address. An alias delivers to an existing mailbox. A project mailbox keeps its own correspondence and access list. Staff use their individual accounts to access authorised mailboxes; they do not share a former employee’s password. Offboarding revokes access and allows an administrator to assign a replacement.

Planned customer mailbox lifecycle; not yet available as a complete paid service. Existing business correspondence remains subject to the business’s retention and deletion rules. Storage, sending rates and abuse controls still apply. Competing services also offer aliases and some offer shared mailboxes: a hundred project addresses must not be priced as a hundred paid employee seats unless that provider’s licensing actually requires it.

Your website. Your people. Your company files.

Start with everything the business needs. Our example is four employees, one public website, business email, shared calendars, internal chat and 150 GB of company files with employee access controls. GridOnBoard’s planned 250 GB pool leaves 100 GB for mail, website content and eligible backups in this example. All uses share that pool.

Space your team can actually use

Allocate the planned 250 GB where the business needs it. For a file-heavy small team, flexibility matters more than unused mailbox quotas elsewhere.

The website belongs in the budget

GridOnBoard’s planned core includes one website. Count website subscriptions and storage upgrades when they are needed; count genuine competitor inclusions, too.

A connected working day

Keep files, access, company calendars and internal Arbam chat in the same business workspace. A cheap hosting or email price alone does not cover that working day.

This is a selected workload, not a claim that every competing plan costs more. Missing component prices are unquoted, never treated as zero or invented. Hosting storage, mail quotas and general team-file space are not interchangeable. Domain costs are excluded consistently. GridOnBoard’s combined package is planned; current workflows and availability are described on our availability page.

Arbam chat belongs in the business package.

Four Slack Pro seats cost $29/month equivalent on the regular annual price. GridOnBoard’s planned $26 business package includes Arbam chat alongside mail, one website, calendars and shared storage. That is a $3/month difference before adding those other services to Slack.

Slack Pro lists $7.25 per user/month annually or $8.75 monthly. Its current eligible introductory offer discounts the first three monthly-billed months. Slack Free is $0, with 90-day searchable message history and up to ten app integrations.

Slack Pro adds unlimited searchable history, app integrations, group huddles and external collaboration. GridOnBoard Arbam chat currently focuses on internal company channels, messages, threads and permitted search; it does not claim feature parity, external Slack Connect-style collaboration or unlimited retention. Full paid GridOnBoard services remain in development.

Slack’s fair billing policy can credit inactive/deactivated members, subject to its rules. This table assumes active paid seats; employee departures must not be counted as permanent extra charges. Neither email hosting nor a public website is included in the listed Slack plan. Compare the complete package your team will use.

The price advantage can start at four people.

At the selected regular annual-plan rates, four Microsoft 365 Business Basic with Teams or Google Workspace Starter accounts cost $28.00 per month equivalent. GridOnBoard’s planned business package is $26.00: $2.00 less per month, or $24.00 projected over a year. Three accounts cost $21.00, so the crossing point matters.

Four is a specific comparison, not a universal threshold. The Microsoft plan without Teams crosses at five people on its annual price; Zoho Workplace Standard crosses at nine. Promotions and cheaper email-only products can cross later. Compare the tools, storage purpose, commitment and readiness you need as well as the subscription price. No team size shown here creates a product limit.

Monthly/flexible option: $40.00 / month for 10.

30 GB mail per user plus a separate 100 GB team file allowance for 10 users. Mail, Calendar, Cliq and office tools.

$44.00 less per month in this scenario. The planned $26.00 GridOnBoard price is 62.9% below the $70.00 annual-plan monthly equivalent for ten Microsoft or Google users: $528.00 over 12 months. This compares subscription outlay, not identical capabilities or readiness.

Capacity matters, and so does its purpose. Google’s 300 GB pool and Microsoft’s individual 1 TB allowances can offer more capacity. Zoho separates mail from team files. GridOnBoard’s value is its planned connected package and flexible business pool; it does not have the most storage in every comparison.

How cheaper email plans compare

Hostinger, Namecheap and GoDaddy also sell hosting and other services. These are their selected email plans, not quotes for a complete replacement stack. Their mailbox quotas are not a general shared file pool with company file-access controls.

Prepared by GridOnBoard. Selected plans are compared on their published billing unit and storage purpose. No provider endorsement is implied. Shared mailboxes, inactive-user credits, promotions and regional quotes can change the outcome. Slack Free remains an option; Pro adds history and collaboration features that are not claimed as Arbam chat parity. A complete stack requires pricing every missing service without double-counting hosting email.
