Price and what is included
How much does GridOnBoard cost, and is it priced per user?
GridOnBoard costs $26 a month per business, in US dollars. It is not priced per user: the price is the same for a team of 2 or a team of 50, so a team of 10 pays $2.60 per person. Extra storage, and the ERP after 31 December 2026, are priced separately and listed below.
Sign-up is free and needs no card. Paid checkout is not open yet, so nothing can be charged today. See the pricing page.
What is included in the $26 a month?
One business subscription covers:
- Business email for your own domain, with no fee per address.
- 250 GB of storage shared by the whole business, used by mail, files, websites and eligible backups.
- One website.
- Team chat and calendars.
The ERP is in early access and free until 31 December 2026, then $24 a month, as the next questions explain. The free Arbam Office apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) are coming. Domain registration is separate, and buying domains through GridOnBoard is not open yet. Product availability shows where each part stands today.
Is there a free trial or a free plan?
Sign-up is free and needs no card. You create your business account, confirm your email address and set up two-step sign-in, and you must be 18 or older. Paid checkout is not open yet and nothing can be charged. The terms for paid subscriptions are published before they open.
What can I use today, and what is still in preview?
Sign-up and the console are live, and every account uses two-step sign-in. Part by part:
- Early access: team chat in the console (channels, direct messages, files and search), and the ERP and CRM.
- Preview: business email (mailboxes and receiving are still being built), the Storage Vault, websites and access control.
- Limited pilot: calendars.
- Planned: meetings, and the free Arbam Office apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Paid checkout is not open yet. Product availability has the details.
How much does extra storage cost?
Every business starts with 250 GB shared by everyone in it. The allowance belongs to the business, not to each person. Add-ons are +250 GB for $7.50 a month, +500 GB for $15 a month and +1 TB for $25 a month, where 1 GB is 1 billion bytes. See the storage add-ons.
What does the ERP cost?
The ERP, with its CRM, is in early access and free until 31 December 2026. Core subscribers who qualify by that date keep it included. From 1 January 2027 new core subscriptions exclude it and it becomes a $24 a month add-on. The terms of qualification are published before paid subscriptions open.
The ERP is for direct businesses. Agency-managed client workspaces do not include it. Read the ERP terms.
What does the ERP include?
Accounting, invoices and bills, projects and construction, payroll and leave, inventory, equipment on projects, and CRM. It sits in the same business account as email and files. It is in early access; product availability shows where each part stands today.
Your data and security
Who owns our data, and can we export or delete it?
Your business owns everything it puts into GridOnBoard. Email stays with the business when staff change, so a colleague leaving does not take the correspondence with them. You can export everything before you leave, and you can delete your business yourself; a record of the closing is kept.
Your business decides who gets in and who resets a password. GridOnBoard does not reset passwords for you. Some parts, such as mailbox handover, are still in development: see product availability.
How secure is GridOnBoard?
- Two-step sign-in is required for everyone.
- Every uploaded file is scanned in an isolated system before anyone can download it.
- Your files are kept in two separate stores.
- Every business is kept separate from every other business.
Read the security approach and why two-step sign-in is required.
Where is my data hosted?
In the European Union today. Regional servers are planned and are not available yet; no date is promised.
Who it is for and how it compares
Who is GridOnBoard for?
Businesses and teams of 1 to 50 people: services, trading, construction and contracting, and agencies. Agencies can also read about the agency pathway.
How does GridOnBoard compare with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
There are two main differences. The first is the price model: GridOnBoard is one flat price per business ($26 a month), where per-user suites charge for every person. The second is what is included: GridOnBoard includes an ERP (accounting, invoices, projects, payroll, inventory), where those suites do not.
Moving your email and files from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is not available yet; it is listed under what is coming. For sourced prices, see compare workspaces.
What are the Arbam apps?
Arbam is the name of GridOnBoard's apps. Arbam chat is the team chat in the console, and it is in early access. The Arbam Office apps (Docs, Sheets and Slides) are coming: they will be free, work offline, need no account and have no paywall. Product availability shows the status of each.
Which languages does GridOnBoard support?
English today. Support for 84 languages is coming; no date is promised.
Coming, and getting help
Can I use my own AI, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok, with GridOnBoard?
Coming. The plan is that your own AI can drive GridOnBoard from a chat. It is not available yet and no date is promised.
Can I move my email and files from Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
Not yet. Moving your email and files, with both systems running side by side during the move, is coming; no date is promised. The migration page explains how a move is planned.
How do I get help?
Start with Help and support, which has guides for accounts, files, mail and websites. Password resets are done by your own business administrators, never by GridOnBoard.
